And now, this week's challenge...

It’s me, Karen McAlpine. I am your hostess today for Challenge #3. So, that means I have selected the theme. I thought it would be fun to do a shape challenge. Your challenge, if you should decide to accept it, is to make a project that uses one or more Oval Shapes.

Here are a few ideas to get you started: oval die cuts, punches, oval shaped stamps, or decorative paper with ovals. You do not have to use Stampsmith Stamps for this challenge. But, if you have them, we would love to see you use them. You can make any type of project from 3-D to cards. You will have until November 14th to complete your project and link it up here. And, of course, there is a fabulous prize. One person will be selected at random for a gift certificate to the Stampsmith Shop. I will also be selecting the three Highlights from this challenge. The winner and Highlights will be announced on November 15th. Well, ladies and gentlemen, get busy and show us your Ovals. Have fun! We can’t wait to see what beauties you come up with.

Welcome everyone!  The Stampsmith Design Team is very excited to bring you The Stampsmith Challenge Blog!  Whether you are already a Stampsmith fanatic or are new to The Stampsmith images, we have loads of fun for you!

The very first challenge is going to be all about dressing up.  When you're dressing up for a party, a masquerade, a wedding, halloween, a themed event or any special occasion, you're going to need just the right outfit with all of the matching accessories! This challenge celebrates suits, dresses, crowns, masks, tiaras, bling, shoes, purses, feather boas or whatever costume is appropriate for the occasion!!

Feel free to create any type of project inspired by this theme (card, 3d object, altered project, art jewellery, etc.) to be entered for your chance to win a $10 gift certificate to spend in the Stampsmith Shop!

You are encouraged to us Stampsmith stamps if you have them, however; you may enter this challenge using any stamped images for your chance to expand your Stampsmith collection.

Never entered a challenge before?  We're honoured to have you join us!  It's really quite simple!  Just click on the link at the bottom of this post to enter the challenge.  You will be given the choice to link to your project on your blog or to upload your picture directly from your computer.  Check back to see other entries during the challenge.  The winner will be announced on October 15th when the next challenge starts.

The design team has graciously provided some beautiful inspiration! They invite you to visit their blogs for more details.  Click on the pictures to see larger versions.  Have fun and good luck!
